Onkyo HT-S7400 5.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver/Speaker Package
Onkyo's HT-S7400 offers a fast track to spectacular all-in-one home entertainment. Along with a feature-laden A/V network receiver, the package includes a dock for iPod/iPhone and a quality, gloss-finished 5.1-channel speaker set. The receiver's network functionality allows you to bring internet radio and PC audio into your living room, and adds compatibility with Onkyo's Remote App for iPod/iPhone. Four new-generation HDMI inputs handle the latest high-def formats, such as 3D video, lossless Dolby and DTS audio, and 4K video upscaled via Qdeo technology. Other rear-side connectors include an analog RGB input for PC video and a Universal Port for Onkyo peripherals. On the receiver's front-side, a USB input enables digital connection of flash memory devices such as iPod/iPhone, while analog A/V inputs let you hook up a camcorder or game console just like that. All of this high-performance functionality is surprisingly easy to set up and control, thanks to Audyssey room-correction and equalization, and Onkyo's interactive on-screen menus.

I went back to a lower model because the signal would randomly until 28 days later, he left a good ... So I decided to get this one, and it has been a nightmare, I have a firmware update with USB stick allows you to connect directly to your home network. Anyway, the HDMI-through is the biggest pain so far, this unit for some reason, requires a power cycle each time the signs, let me explain .... I If you watch TV with my cable box and then I turn on 360, change the HDMI signal 360 without problems, however, once I turn off the 360, the receiver does not detect the HDMI signal decoders already, so I have to turn the receiver off, leaving out of a few seconds (40-90 on average), and then turn on the receiver goes to the cable box signal, which is a problem with Comcast high-boxes, if you leave the box out of this term, not the TV guide displays the current content, which will give you the old "this list will be published soon," the message there is a faster way to get the signal to show immediately, disconnect the HDMI cable box to the back of the receiver, plug and the signal goes to cable TV, but this defeats the whole purpose of HDMI by model alltogether ....... I do not need less of this "cycle of power." I've been looking online and even a local store near me, Onkyo, none of the "HT" in the name of the model is basically garbage customers bring them back due to extreme heat or component no fly. I was told to buy the receiver separately, and to go with XT models. Sadly, however, do not cheap, and does not include speakers. This unit, with $ 699, not more than a cheap receiver with some decent speakers. I have also heard of the Onkyo customer service and warranty, which does not include a prepaid label mail, that you must carry and send the package itself. No thanks, I save some money and build a system of separate components. Believe me when I say this, do not buy a home theater package, at least from Onkyo. I hope this review helps some of you. For Briand This is an update of some of the smaller models (HT-S5400) from the point of view of connectivity to the Internet I just tried Pandora does not connect. I have no problem, but in my Panasonic Viera Plasma Pandora in connection Ethernet network connection wired the same. Also, do not play nice with my cable box and TV via HDMI. I'm doing HTCP content violations. ARRRRR. The speakers cheap speakers is really good. I'll keep trying to fix things. Fortunately, having a direct network connection allows easy firmware updates, which I hope to improve the overall operation. See all 2 customer reviews ....
