Neat and compact, this mini stereo system delivers sound quality and entertainment that is better than can compete with many more expensive systems. Built Around Proven Amplification Design, Solid Build Quality and Impressive Musicality Mini audio systems are all about improving your lifestyle. Beyond merely saving space, though, the right mini system adds functionality and style in an integrated package. The CS-325 CD receiver system takes things a step further, thanks to its exceptional ability to reproduce audio. Here, Onkyo has applied the same approach used in its acclaimed two-channel audio line-up.The end result is a system best described with one word: musical. The system’s multi-format-capable receiver sports a robust chassis designed to suppress vibrations. Meanwhile, the accompanying speakers feature a gloss finish on the front, as well as proprietary Onkyo speaker developments designed to deliver audio signals with punch, clarity and emotion. Amplification Design Built Around the Onkyo Sound Add the Onkyo RI iPod dock to add your iTunes music to your Onkyo CD system (sold separately) Due to their obvious size limitations, mini audio systems present various challenges to amplification design. The concept behind the CS-325 was to design a compact system with audio quality as the key consideration. Therefore, Onkyo’s engineers incorporated the same technology used in our renowned full-sized amplifiers and receivers:Wide Range Amplifier Technology.WRAT gives the CS-325 three distinct advantages: 1) A wider frequency response compared to similar mini audio systems; 2) Reduced amplifier distortion at high volume; and 3) Better control of current and electrical/mechanical kick-back from speakers. This enables the CS-325 to deliver audio of surprisingly high quality from such a compact component. Exclusive Onkyo Circuitry to Maintain Clean Audio Signals Lower-quality mini audio systems usually employ just one circuit at the output stage. With multiple transistors crammed onto a single circuit, excess heat is generated and the audio signal is compromised. The CR-325 CD receiver is different. It uses discrete amplifier technology similar to that found on Onkyo’s full-sized amplifiers and receivers. Keeping the transistors separate at the output stage enhances cooling, so the CR-325’s longevity is extended and interference to the audio signal is reduced. Conventional volume attenuation methods involve initially dropping a signal close to the noise floor at low volumes. This taints the signal with noise, which increases when the signal is amplified. By contrast, Optimum Gain Volume Circuitry adjusts the gain so that less than half the usual amount of attenuation is necessary. The signal never comes close to the noise floor, and the risk of noise is therefore reduced. The Option of iPod Playback Through RI Dock for the iPod (sold separately) Onkyo’s Remote Interactive (RI) function enables Onkyo component owners to integrate compatible components for operation via a single remote control. It also enables you to integrate the iPod with the CS-325 through Onkyo’s optional RI Dock. Simply connect the dock to the CS-325’s receiver, then place your iPod in the dock for control via the CS-325’s remote. The RI Dock offers a "heftier and more detailed" sound than can be experienced with an RCA stereo cable. Gloss-Finished Speakers with Proprietary Onkyo Features The accompanying D-325 two-way, bass-reflex speakers have a gloss finish on the front that will impress in any environment. Musically, they incorporate a range of Onkyo speaker developments designed to match the CR-325 CD receiver. For example, the woofer cones are made from Onkyo’s A-OMF Monocoque—a diaphragm fiber designed to support the range of piston motion. Also, to deliver high-frequency sounds with finesse, the speakers include a ring-drive tweeter that contributes to the restraint of low-frequency interference from inside the speaker. Finally, a duct—the Aero Acoustic Drive— is included to further mitigate interference between high and low frequencies. Simple Yet Comprehensive Control over All Your MP3s With more and more music being bought online, the CS-325 is an ideal solution for bringing greater audio fidelity to MP3s. As MP3 files can be organized hierarchically in folders, you can use either of two modes--Navigation or All Folder--for selection and playback. In All Folder mode, all folders appear at the same level, making it easy to select one. If no specific file or MP3 is selected, all tracks will be played back in numerical order. On the other hand, Navigation mode lets you move through the folder hierarchy. The display button on the remote also enables you to see information about the MP3 being played, including the artist’s name and the song and album titles. Good value by Ron The price versus performance competitions, I always think Onkyo gives you the most value for your money. I have a full size Onkyo 5.1. It sounds good and is very reliable. The last time I'm looking for a mini-system for the apartment of my mother. Have listened to Bose and other brands, I think the CS-325 offers the best value for the same money. I am an electrical engineer and has opened numerous electronic devices packaging. Let me tell you, I've never seen that any packing neat and spotless as this. The design was simple and straightforward. The speaker feels very developed, a sign of quality. Overall, the system is very nice. Once established, the controls are very user friendly. It is an excellent choice for a smaller space, like a city apartment. I am pleased with the high to mid frequency range. I could ask for better bass, perhaps because of its smaller woofer. Some complain that the iPod is still optional docking, it is better than many systems cost twice as much. At $ 200, is a great buy. But if, like me, are looking to upgrade your old trusty boombox, but still not willing to spend hundreds or even thousands for this purpose, look no further - this is a great buy! For only twice the price of a decent boombox you have a system of superior class. The sound is clean and rich, but very powerful - with the volume at 42 I usually keep in the low to mid 20. If you prefer a deeper bass, you may need to add a subwoofer - a dedicated outlet is present. Personally, as far as I am with super bass mode (except, I do not like with an additional switch on and off, even if auto-standby subwoofer eliminate the need) I also greatly pleased the ability to play MP3-CDs . appreciate The screen can be any relevant information about the files. Navigation in the files is relatively easy given the small size of the screen. I have encountered no problems with reading CD, including reports of the other reviewers. Be aware of in terms of physical size, that the main unit is deep enough - "and not a typical bookshelf speaker, although usually a smaller type, even quite deep -. 11" included 15 (see Table I for the show depth of the system.) With all the positive comments I have to add some criticism. Three main complaint so far: 1 No AUX (3.5mm) input for easy connection of a portable external hard drive. With the current ubiquity of such devices, it looks pretty weird. It 'true that there is an option for iPod dock, but (1), is too expensive - at half price on the primary system, (2) other brands and types of portable drives are available in the iPod, however I must stress that the problem is minor, like you just bought a stereo mini-RCA3 "Y" splitter cable to connect the player via one of the inputs on the back. (I used DOCK input for this purpose and another, TAPE, I am connected to a TV, the video via a special option known, and can now have a "home theater" every time I feel a mood. ) 2. No USB input. There is a difference in CS-525 main model is the presence of a USB port (actually, the manual is being 525/325), but for some reason is not available in the United States. Political marketing weird! 3. No resume feature - CD starts playing the disc, not from the point of interruption, if you stop reading, go to another source (like radio) or turned off. This is a common deficiency of most mini-systems and the upper class, while virtually any car stereo or portable CD player remembers the point where it stopped and continue the same effort.

Great for sound - not so good for video Duma Why I bought this product for a 5.1 system in a room in a strange way (the fourth rectangle missing one of the long sides - is attache to the kitchen). I've paired with some pioneer speakers. Set up was as easy as any other receiver I've ever had. He has two advantages over my past, but the receivers: 1) the configuration screen (via HDMI to TV), and 2) auto-speaker calibration (which is great for my fourth odd). I believe that self-calibration was much better than I would configure the screen and eliminate confusion about what can be seen from the small receiver (compared to a television) screen. The sound is great. Watching a movie in 5.1 in a strange room with the receiver is as pleasant as a movie theater. My dog even went to the back door when he heard a dog barking on one of the surround speakers. I'm unhappy, upconvert video / high-end analog to 1080i via HDMI, I was under the impression that if I had connected my satellite receiver and the TV picture better - it is not. The picture is better with the S-cable directly to the TV (I do not have HD satellite) to face with the RCA cable to the receiver, then HDMI to the TV. However, the image of the BR player to the receiver is as beautiful as they are, when it was connected directly to the TV. So if you have something with an HDMI cable, you will not change it with the Sony (bad) image, but do not expect that standard images on the impression that they are not in HD to give. The iPod dock works with a simple USB cable. However, if you want to send your iPod to your TV, you need a video cable and RCA. The sound and some features may give the recipient an "A" in my book. I do not think to buy for my high-end video, but if I had, I was disappointed with this purchase. 17 of 22 people found this review update best help ever! When upgrading jesse james best I got! It has THX Select 2, three sound fields 7.2 and 7.2, including discrete HD / EX, Dolby z, and Audyssey DSX wide. There are connections of up to 11 speakers (excluding the two submarines. The nominal power is 110 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 0.08% THD, which provides the recipient with enough power and clean sound for a small sized room. Installation If you have HDMI inputs, introduction of the TX-NR708 is a breeze, since they already run your speaker cables, of course. The terminals are of high quality and have a feeling smooth and unlike some other receivers, it is easy to tell when the cables are secured. Since this receiver has 11 terminals to speakers, connect the speakers would be confusing if I had not studied the new Audyssey first DSX and Dolby audio enhancements z, which is simply amazing, in my opinion (more on that later). The disadvantage is that you need four additional speakers to enjoy that I no longer cords and marked them for testing later. If you do this, make sure no wires to short. This thing gives great performance. It is very solid, no nonsense, just what you need and not much else. What it does, do it well: decode most of the time, and HDMI 1.4! I was amazed how much this device was that my old 2006-model Onkyo 5.1 receiver. This model is clearly a new generation on the same line, with many features and options layout is identical. What this unit except the compound yesterday. 3 HDMI 1.4 inputs, full-3D compatibility of the road, two optical inputs, composite, and much more. What is not so hot is the "frills". I say "frills" as they are not frilly. Alternative listening modes are usually worthless, just as they were five years ago. The display looks very, very dated, and the remote is even worse than before. In fact, the screen and listening mode that is identical to my old drive after installation, do not expect to press more than about 4 buttons on the full size remote if you do not have any other Onkyo components, this remote Remote not universal. This unit is compatible with any "control over HDMI" feature, so depending on your TV may be able to synchronize to a point and use a remote control for more casual functions of both devices. Or less upconversion to HDMI video inputs, which is nice to have, but no one does well to reach price points much higher still. But who really buys one of these sound effects for distance and boring? I do not know. I bought this for a reason: Onkyo sound quality. And this unit does not disappoint. Apart from that just sound good, is rock-functional aspects of this device quite solid and do exactly what you expect from Onkyo. For the money, I do not know how to beat this device. You get the first order of Onkyo, with no audio performance and all that nonsense that comes with HDMI 14. Auto A / V Sync is here that the color is deep, if your TV and other components to support them. You will be ready when 3D really takes off, or if the price continues to receive HDTV reasonable much better over the next 3-5 years. This unity of the budget can grow with your home theater as the industry evolves over the years to come, and maintain a high profile in the days when everything is bigger when we consider the cycle of technology. Onkyo really got it right this year with this model at this price. I fully recommend this unit to anyone looking for 5.1 surround sound for the price you do not want to throw in two years. 43 of 45 people found this review helpful. Optimum receiver for a low price! R. Holte looking to upgrade my 6.1 Onkyo receiver that I bought 7 years ago. I came across this model at a local electronics store and was blown away by the sound and price. It will decode DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD, which is important for me because I just moved to the Blu-ray and wanted the best possible sound for playback. I connected my new Sony BDP-S570 Blu-ray and put Avatar as a movie test. I run an HDMI cable and an HDMI output to Onkyo to the TV. When the movie finally began, I could not get DTS-HD Master Audio to get on the receiver. After some research, you must ensure that your DVD player does not decode the audio and send it to your-collector to decode. When I had this fixed and then DTS-HD Master Audio are very impressed. My children stopped what they were doing and came over to listen and not just watch the movie like last time. Again, this REC Onkyo is a great buy for under $ 300 and is also future proof for when the main flow is 3D TV next year than this. PS I currently run my cable box, PS3 and Blu-ray player via HDMI and everything works very well with sound and picture.

I chose Pioneer if I replace a 10-year-old Pioneer who recently started acting and I was quite happy with. This receiver is very high, but I have two major complaints. My first (and biggest) is that it does not seem to ARC or standby support transit if you enable "control over HDMI", which only works with certain pieces of equipment that can only be specified in the manual. On the website they just have a check mark next to the two functions, so I expect no warnings have. Maybe I am wrong in thinking that the HDMI signal will cause the receiver if it is inactive, or "control over HDMI" is set and regardless of what equipment compatible Pioneer, but I think it's a bit misleading in my head. Note that I'm no expert / V, so what I say with a pinch of salt and feel free to research yourself Right now I am looking to replace the HDMI out on my screen and use the inputs dual perspective, as I did with my old receiver. My second objection is that on-screen display (OSD) just get through the RCA ports and not through HDMI. After buying new HDMI 1.4 cable and try to get rid of all the other optical Toslink cable, etc., it seems a bit retro to just let the configuration menu to review the RCA video output. Just my opinion, decide yourself, but with regard to the information I have now, I could have gone with DH720 and hoped for the best. December 11 people found this review helpful. Great entry level receiver to receiver J. Childress wonderfully with audiophile-quality performance you expect from Pioneer. It is clean and elegant look is not horrible with all the audio features of any home theater system should be treated in a fraction of the cost of higher end receivers instructions very well and easy to understand complicated. It took me about an hour to setup and get all the internal settings to my liking. All receiver functions via remote control. Only a few minor negative points I could find was on-screen menu setting is analogous and just everything about the basic needs of the remote device, so you will not lose! I think the top end units do not have this series on these topics. Things like this are obviously to this affordable for the budget left. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The first two were defective, no thank you Pioneer! By Scott A. Chôdes I had great expectations of this new model year 2011 Pioneer receiver. I used an old 2-channel Pioneer, which had lasted for years and have great sound. Now, with advances in technology, HDMI has become a necessity, as well as its attractiveness for 51 channeling effect. To my disappointment, when I tried the unit with the tuner I feel open and echoes from HD 300 Klipsch speakers. Fiddle through the manual and could really use some improvement, I was finally able to stop the POP and the roar of the most time with the audio in "Pure", leaving me with a glorified two-channel stereo without even the subwoofer kicks in more play with the options (features) and I was able to get the subwoofer to work only to find the crackling and roaring back and end up with no sound. I had the same problems with the brand new Pioneer DVD / CD player and the HDMI connection for the U-verse service. I eventually came to the conclusion that had a defective unit, so Amazon came to the rescue and UPS will pick up the phone when they traded for another, hoping that the expectations add to the reality, yes, one must use component cables for video or RCA to the "menu" configuration screen, but what it is.

It works perfectly! The only question I had when you connect it all was that I could not find anything written that you are not a separate audio cable from the tuner to the recipient. Revealed the cable supplied with the tuner (DIN type), provided that all it takes. I still do not know why there is an optical audio connection if you do not need. 4 of 4 people found this review helpful. Great addition to my receiver B. I went back to a lower model because the signal would randomly until 28 days later, he left a good ... So I decided to get this one, and it has been a nightmare, I have a firmware update with USB stick allows you to connect directly to your home network. Anyway, the HDMI-through is the biggest pain so far, this unit for some reason, requires a power cycle each time the signs, let me explain .... I If you watch TV with my cable box and then I turn on 360, change the HDMI signal 360 without problems, however, once I turn off the 360, the receiver does not detect the HDMI signal decoders already, so I have to turn the receiver off, leaving out of a few seconds (40-90 on average), and then turn on the receiver goes to the cable box signal, which is a problem with Comcast high-boxes, if you leave the box out of this term, not the TV guide displays the current content, which will give you the old "this list will be published soon," the message there is a faster way to get the signal to show immediately, disconnect the HDMI cable box to the back of the receiver, plug and the signal goes to cable TV, but this defeats the whole purpose of HDMI by model alltogether ....... I do not need less of this "cycle of power." I've been looking online and even a local store near me, Onkyo, none of the "HT" in the name of the model is basically garbage customers bring them back due to extreme heat or component no fly. I was told to buy the receiver separately, and to go with XT models. Sadly, however, do not cheap, and does not include speakers. This unit, with $ 699, not more than a cheap receiver with some decent speakers. I have also heard of the Onkyo customer service and warranty, which does not include a prepaid label mail, that you must carry and send the package itself. No thanks, I save some money and build a system of separate components. Believe me when I say this, do not buy a home theater package, at least from Onkyo. I hope this review helps some of you. For Briand This is an update of some of the smaller models (HT-S5400) from the point of view of connectivity to the Internet I just tried Pandora does not connect. I have no problem, but in my Panasonic Viera Plasma Pandora in connection Ethernet network connection wired the same. Also, do not play nice with my cable box and TV via HDMI. I'm doing HTCP content violations. ARRRRR. The speakers cheap speakers is really good. I'll keep trying to fix things. Fortunately, having a direct network connection allows easy firmware updates, which I hope to improve the overall operation. See all 2 customer reviews ....

Onkyo's low negative-feedback design with audiophile-grade, close-tolerance components achieves a frequency response out to 100 kHz for high-definition and regular DVD formats, high-resolution DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD, regular CDs, digital music files and the latest gaming software. By Chris Henshaw Let me start by saying that I'm not an audiophile and I do not have a super fantastic speaker, not to comment so this review is not on the nuances of the sound quality of this receiver. But let's face it, if you only spend $ 350.00 on a receiver, looking for a good receiver, not one that will fly out of the water. That said ... Onkyo came in one day (thanks to Amazon Prime) and came well packed. There was a serious dent on one side of the box, but no damage inside. The receiver is pretty heavy (I hope that decent internal states). Set up was very easy. The 5-Port HDMI in the back (plus one in the front) is of course easiest to connect a. The speaker terminals are clearly marked and there are two subwoofer pre-outs. Also, if you do not want to run a real 7.1 A set-up, you can run a couple of fronts or bi-wire the front speakers (if you have this option) It was not planned at this price. I connected the monitor to the receiver. Slim Sony PS3, Xbox 360 (first generation / Component + Toslink cables), the WD TV (media player) and a Comcast cable box (make Motorala). In addition to the Xbox 360 console is connected via HDMI. Optical and coaxial audio inputs are assignable (once to enter the menu system that is on the screen). I have everything through HDMI cable, a 35-foot ceiling of my projector Epson 8100 (which is a 3-LCD 1080p units). I use a Harmony remote, so can not comment too much on the Onkyo included, but I use it to set the receiver and is quite comfortable to hold and seems to have a complete set of function keys on it. Just a few random notes: - The display on the receiver is very light, but the remote has a dimmer button on it that can dim the display until it's almost - had the microphone set-up very easily. Put it in 3 locations and suggested a few buttons. The rest of the calibration for you. - Be able to produce sound (even through my old Sony speakers) is better than my old Sony and Denon receivers. - HDMI pass-through is available as onboard upscaling and analog-digital up-conversion to 1080p via HDMI output (a very nice feature in this price class) Note that I'm no expert, but I am setting up of a series of systems (from cheap home-theater-in-a-box up to $ 50,000 custom home theater room) and this product really impressed me in the features and easy setup. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask on Amazon. 38 of 38 people found the following review helpful. Kent with a great receiver I had in the past two days to enjoy my new receiver and 'what one would expect from Onkyo. A point to note regarding the price, the price is actually 499 and not 549, so that reduces the total savings. The price of 349 is still great for what you have found. The RC260 is essentially a slightly reduced offer Onkyo SR608. It lacks three elements, the 15-pin VGA input, Sirius input and THX Select2 certification. For those who do not need three of these features, you can save by choosing the RC260. Unfortunately, this device because it's based off of SR608, which also caused degradation of 1080p video processor is integrated in the video. This used to run 1080p up-converting your sources. You can turn off if you choose, but you lose the screen, which is very useful. However, you can even configure it through the screen of a line in the drive has a total of six HDMI inputs, so there are many and I do not know if it will ever be able to consume them all. Help when you need to have it though. It is an audio / video processing options galore. 31 of 31 people found.

Great value, easy installation, the heat is no problem Bogus I bought this system on Black Friday, and noticed shortly after that he was "under observation" from Amazon. Some of the other criticisms, overheating and faulty device when the vent is blocked, and have been considering that for a typical installation. This system could very well be a popular first home theater amplifier / receiver, so for those who are not familiar with this kind of stuff, to think that way unit> a main audio / video processor in a metal box, the contains also be packed by the parties that the power of the center, front and surround speakers. The speakers have no branches, they are powered directly through the device with power. In other words: imagine, by a supply of 20 pounds in a metal box with your laptop. Get the idea? There is a reason, it comes with a warning that clearly defined not to block the Wind. I have no doubt that the shoehorning in of a cabinet-style booths, or placement on a shelf directly above can cause problems with that said, I have my receiver on the bottom shelf of my TV stand with a good 8 "above it before the next shelf, and the stand is open on the sides and rear (glass shelves with wooden legs in the corners). I have found consensus hours without problems. Maybe I'm just lucky, or maybe it's the fact that there is adequate airflow. Anyway, it works. And it works very well. I'm not sure how the installation can be difficult, using any port receivers are clearly marked and the remote control on the same label ("The Game" HDMI port, and "play" optical audio port is controlled by the "play" buttons on the device itself and the remote ). The different sound modes are well described and Audyssey setup is too easy (and highly recommended, that makes the difference). The subwoofer is huge, which is good or bad depending on your situation, I find myself in an apartment on the third floor, and then turning the knob is just over 3 (10) unreasonably high. On the other hand, you are in a "man cave" or home theater can really crank things up and soundtrack feel in your chest. For comparison, the subwoofer a little bigger and a few inches wider than my Antec 900 PC case. A few extra notes: as another reviewer said, is the Atlantic indicated at the bottom of this page DO NOT connect directly to speakers. The speakers have a wall bracket for the upper back, but nothing on the lower back or bottom. I've just used the supplied double sided tape, and the speakers are not everywhere. If you have noisy kids or pets you might want to look into another solution. Onkyo also so kind to some speaker cables come with the system, but it is super thin. Upgrading to a 14-gauge wire is a good idea, at least for the rear surrounds you probably could get away with using the thin stuff for the front three, but you can throw a 100-'14-gauge wire to get for under $ 40. You also have no trouble with banana clips, you can not use the speaker end, and they do not look like a good connection on the receiver end. Just wire everything directly, it's fast, easy and reliable. For the price you would be hard put to find a better system. 22 of 24 people found this review helpful. Great stereo, but I got Lemon .... and Amazon took care of me! By William P. Shivers bottom line is that I like the receiver. The sound is very pleasant. It has a sufficient number of HDMI inputs for my needs and met my 3D needs. I did notice a known problem (which I do not know) with DIRECTV and virtually every 3D sound receiver and 3DTV, no matter the work of the box. It ends with a "split screen" as a sort of parallel PIP. DirecTV seems to be a problem, but can be corrected using the menu located in the Samsung 3D 3D content, and then selecting the icon that looks like

Onkyo Jan Brady might be the best sub-$ 750 receiver this year by WDH In recent years, the previous owners, many of the Onkyo (myself included) tend to migrate to any of the merger, the value of the input boundary of the Series 6 or muscle of the entire chassis of the 8 series and more. The Series 7 was "between" training model in Onkyo. Was omitted altogether in 2006 and appears to be an easy step to ignore the prices naturally fall above and below it. In this sense, the 70X was the proverbial Jan Brady - not exactly the muscle or muscle 80x entry-level, high bang for your money 60 times. Networking, certificiation THX, and processing of high-quality video have been deceived by the alignment further this year, so that the differentiation of the model 709 more difficult. That said, the 709 a big jump in 609 in parts of the version of Audyssey room calibration Auto (XT vs 2EQ MultiEQ) multi-channel pre-outputs for connection to an amplifier, two HDMI outputs switch two video screens, the historical dimension of a learning function in the remote, and a little ridiculous 8 These are all HDMI inputs (and including MultEQ XT) important reasons for choosing the 709 to 609th The advent of HDMI and a fall in prices has rapdily led to a shortage of inputs in the latest mid-range receivers, especially with the Denon. Onkyo TX-nr709 and future Pioneer VSX-1121 may offer some of the best connectivity in this space. I have had many Onkyo products in the past and I am well aware of its peculiarities (massive heat, moody HDMI cards, etc), but I was always impressed by its performance, strong featureset, intuitive menus and settings. Onkyo seems to have addressed a number of flaws of its predecessors in 709 Gone is the simple models of cooking temperature of the past. In fact, I was shocked to compare with Denon, Marantz, Pioneer and operation in a locked cupboard to find a car that runs 709, incredibly fresh. I think there is an internal fan, but runs quietly from normal distances. A little 'curious, I have always advocated Onkyos only for my mother and mother-in-law, because they are the only receiver that can be easily configured on the phone. Their menus are intuitive and easy to navigate, unlike modern Denon Marantz that always seem to hide something at some point. Since 2010, Onkyo has introduced a display screen similar to lined Denon, but a summary of all the menu / GUI (Denon offers covered access to the setup menu completely). Superior in some ways the approach of the Onkyo is that it offers great aspect adjustments (ie zoom in Blu-ray in order to remove the black bars) and the complete picture together (Denon and Marantz gray image to a certain degree), I must admit I 'am a fan of Quick-setting, to provide video and audio settings are, next to the entrance (which is pointless, because the distance is already in hand). That's 709 advertised on video processing chipset Marvell Qdeo based . This is a significant improvement in the long-in-tooth chip Farjouda Onkyo looped in various versions since 2008. The Marvell chip has been used in mid-range Pioneer and Pioneer Elite receivers last year and found the performance However, to be excellent in both the video processing in the receiver is useful, but far from essential -. most screens offer the same treatment or better. From a competition perspective, it should be mentioned that the Denon (and Marantz) have very good 2015-ABT chipset in their mid-range or has a receiver for Analog Devices chip Pioneer will continue to rely dropped on the Marvell chip and. Speak-up and calibration value is very easy with the Onkyo, if the setup microphone is plugged in. First of Onkyo speaker setup confirmed (height, width, rear / normal, or Zone 2) and confirms whether you full Audyssey or should be done quickly .

High Performance and Sound Today's home theater components deliver high performance picture and sound with HD video and surround sound. Difference remarkably good and strong, but not the sound Eldho Thomas Monster Cable I used this to replace a normal speaker cable that comes with the Onkyo speaker system, mainly because I needed a longer cable. My ears of ordinary people could not notice any difference in sound before and after. However, the cable is strong and well protected, which made it more reliable when I had to pull it around the attic, the opening in the wall and through holes in the rough. And the price (despite all the publicity) was not much more than what I was expecting to pay. 272 of 322 people found this review helpful. It is no gauge wire more than 16 lamps for a client, all availible double-blind trials show that the differences between the copper wire of the same caliber at the same distance is completely inaudible. Monster Cable is not better than any other cable with the same diameter, in terms of audibility, if not in the form of Monster Copper 16 gauge stranded marketing budget is more than enough to draw almost no power over almost any reasonable length of cable each speaker. Anyone who claims otherwise has never tried to speaker cables, A / B double-blind conditions. Spend your budget for speakers and amplification, and use the change in the sofa to buy 16 gauge lamp cord in a hardware store. Something more is a monumental waste of money. So Julian Hirsch was talking, and it is the truth. 134 of 165 people found this review helpful. View more snake oil ... With Monster Cable Eduardo Nietzsche equivalent animal and its imitators is a triumph of hype over substance, and ruthlessly exploit naivety of consumers' trust in shady and audio / video dealers. Yes, for most things that you "get what you pay for" --- but when it comes to speaker cable, connecting, and other A / V cable, but that's another story all you need for optimal sound from 12 to 16 gauge generic cable, you can buy at Home Depot for a fraction of the cost. Save your money for things like speaker stands, that really is a world of difference. See 70 reviews ....
